Situated on the first floor just above Beer Mania, accessed via an open staircase on the side of the building, Glen is something of a hidden gem. The place is a whiskey and cocktail bar featuring a pompous interior, an impressive whiskey selection and extremely competent bartenders. Just like in the bars you would find in Japan the cocktail menu at Glen is very traditional and features old classics like Alexander, Godmother, Bijou - you know, the stuff you would find in the Savoy Cocktail Book. On this particular visit we had a Last Word and a Hunter, which were certainly delicious and created with an extreme attention to detail. Prices are in the higher end of the scale but then you can also expect "correct" and perfectly crafted cocktails and a wide range of interesting Japanese snacks. Recommended.
