My boyfriend took me by surprise on a warm summer day where we were really supposed to do nothing. Kongens Have was a perfect stage for cupcake-eating perfectly accompanied by a bottle of Mondori Asti (Irma's finest through many, many years). And yes, we ate them all!

Unfortunately I do not remember the exact details of the very elaborated cakes we bought at Nikolaos Strangas' cakeaway. But they were delicious! Admittedly, they are on the pricy side, retailing at around 40dkk each but it was a delicious afternoon treat enjoyed on a bench by the lakes.
